stay-at-home mom husband works from home police officer, i earned a bachelor of arts degree at carleton university while juggling jobs as a disc jockey, a sailing instructor, and a teaching assistant.

i subsequently studied at osgoode hall law school, where i somehow managed to win a few competitions (local and province-wide) for legal debating and trial advocacy. after graduating from law school, i qualified as a lawyer with alberta justice — where i prosecuted both traffic offences and criminal code cases.

i am married and have two adult daughters. my family is originally from newfoundland, but i have lived and worked in every region across canada. i currently reside in ottawa, canada’s national capital, which is situated on the unceded territory of the algonquin anishinabe nation.
